Thank you for your interest in participating in the SGIM Partnered Research Curriculum, funded by the Veteran Administration Health Services Research and Development Service.
The Society of General Internal Medicine is launching a new curriculum, supported by the Department of Veterans Affairs' Health Services Research and Development Service. The curriculum is designed to help scientists to conduct research in partnership with learning healthcare systems, including the VA.
When: June 2020 through April 2021
Requirements:
- 2-4 hours a month
- Assigned tasks with mentor/monthly 1 hour calls
- Monthly Pre-work
- Monthly 90-minute video learning session with faculty
- Attendance at SGIM Annual Meeting in Boston, MA 2021
- Evaluation at the end of the curriculum

- Defining Partnered Research
- Theoretical Models and Study Design Methods and Models used in Partnered Research
- Evidence-Based Communications Strategies to Engage Partners
- What Researchers Need to Know about Incentives Faced by their Organizational Partners
